Arriving at the MTC

We arrived at the MTC and received our missionary name tags.  We received our plane tickets, our visas, and had our photo taken.  It is wonderful to meet all the other couples and share experiences with receiving calls and preparation to leave home and family.  We had our photo taken with the Borgs and the Smiths.

Set Apart

June 19th

  President Boyd K Packer set Bruce apart as the President of the Australia, Perth Mission.  Elder Tad Callister set Shari apart as missionary in the Australia, Perth Mission.   All our children, their spouses, and our moms were with us.  We missed Adam and Katie.  It was wonderful.  We feel so blessed to have such a dear, supportive family.  President Packer was gracious, and even teased Robby.  He shook each of our hands.
