May 2014 - Mission President's Seminar/Transfers

We attended the Pacific Area Mission President's Seminar in Brisbane.  We love this opportunity to learn how to be more effective in our calling.  It is also great to be with other mission presidents and their wives!  We have lots of meetings - but nice hotel rooms, great food, and for a few days we are not in charge of any thing!!!!

Anzac Day in Albany

Anzac Day

Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand.  ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.  Originally, 25 April every year was to honor the  ANZACs who fought at Gallipoli in the Ottoman Empire during World War I.
In Western Australia the ANZACs departed from the shores of Albany to go to Gallipoli.
We were in Albany on April 25, this year!  We had a great time watching the local parade and celebrations.
