April Happenings 2014

Celebrating at Nandos with the Rockingham Zone

We ran into Ben, a convert of about a year, and a great missionary.  Through him, over a dozen other people have joined the church.

Farewell to a great Elder who returned home for thyroid cancer treatment -

This is how missionaries do the beach - giving service!

Arriving missionaries - Includes missionaries from China, Vanuatu, & Samoa

Zone Conference focused on Family History and missionary work.  All the missionaries filled out the My Family booklet, and then hung family names on our tree.

What could be better than Elders helping in the kitchen?  Lunch for District Leader Training

Two Zones met in King's Park to clean the plagues for ANZAC Day
National day of honor for the sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand Service men,
especially those in the First World War

I had a great experience sharing the gospel with a family in the park.

More March 2014

Monday evening, Elder Hamula held a FHE with the Senior Couples at the Mission Home.  We had a delicious salmon dinner and a devotional.  It was a beautiful start to our Seniors Conference.  Tuesday we had an Aussie breakfast at the home of Elder and Sister Jordan (who serve full time, but live at home).  Then we went to Caversham Wildlife Park, lunch at a grape orchard, and then games and dinner in the evening at the Mission Home.  Wednesday morning we had training by President Lindsay and the Senior Couples, Nandos lunch and then enjoyed a Temple Session.

Notice Sister T on the left and Sister S on the right are definitely holding that snake!
Sister T looks like a model!

I had them take numerous shots to try and look like Sister T!
I love the kookaburras!
